Creams Cafe was established in 2008 by Adam Mani and Balal Aqil, and played a pivotal role in initiating the dessert parlour movement in the UK. Starting out in Southall, West London, their vibrant and unique retail design ethos can be seen their 100 stores across the UK.

The brand's appeal goes beyond the menu, with visually stunning interiors that prominently feature the Creams Cafe branding. Every restaurant features a captivating gelato counter, with the iconic Creams Cafe logo displayed in the center of an open-plan kitchen.

Neon signage, BMX bikes, and colourful skateboards suspended from the ceiling and lining the walls, along with an array of textures such as wood, metal, and cement, create a contemporary atmosphere. Tables are adorned with striking decals and pops of playful colour, further embodying the brand's fun and nostalgic character.

I was commissioned by NEST STUDIOS who create award winning brand experiences to photograph and capture the essence and detail of the new retail design and fit out. I also created a visual narrative of the store's personality with some short fly-through filmed video.

The retail design photography was shot at the new Creams Cafe in Queen Street, Cardiff.
