It’s not often that you get a photoshoot in the studio that you can eat afterwards. I spent two days meticulously laying out patterns of sweets on a range of coloured backgrounds (then eventually resorting to Photoshop trickery!) to create a vibrant mix of colourful imagery. I wanted the imagery to look very graphic, influenced by pop-art so l lit the products with crisp shadows.

My son William suddenly found an interest in his Dad’s photography studio.
