Event photography for me is about paying attention and knowing when to step in and when to step back. Whether it is a conference, brand launch, exhibition or live event, I focus on documenting what actually happens in the room. The atmosphere, the interactions and the details that people remember afterwards. I work quietly and efficiently so the event can unfold naturally while I capture clear, confident images that feel honest and grounded.
I shoot event photography across Cardiff, London and throughout the UK, working with brands, agencies and organisations who need reliable coverage that still has personality. The images are created to work hard across websites, social media, press and internal communications. Strong lighting, clean composition and a calm approach help ensure the final photographs reflect the energy of the event and the people behind it.
Small and large events
I’ve photographed a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and brand activations to health retreats, workshops and talks. Some are large scale with busy schedules and packed rooms, others are small and intimate where sensitivity and discretion matter more than speed. Each type of event needs a slightly different approach, and I adapt how I work to suit the people and the environment.
Experience counts when things move quickly. I’m comfortable working alongside event teams, organisers and speakers, reacting in real time and making decisions fast without disrupting the flow of the day. The aim is always the same. To deliver a strong set of images that tell the story of the event clearly, feel natural to the people involved, and are useful long after the event has finished.
